A Faster, Smarter Dental4Web is on its Way

The next few releases represent the most significant platform modernisations in Dental4Web’s history, delivering major improvements in speed, performance, usability and workflow efficiency across the entire system.

We’re excited to share a preview of the next evolution of Dental4Web.

The next few releases represent the most significant platform modernisations in Dental4Web’s history, delivering major improvements in speed, performance, usability and workflow efficiency across the entire system.

Built on modern technologies and informed by user feedback, these enhancements are designed to help practices work faster, reduce administrative burden, and create a more connected experience for clinicians, administrators and practice owners.

From streamlined imaging and communication workflows to enhanced security, smarter reporting, improved compliance tools and entirely new collaboration capabilities, every update has been designed with one goal in mind: helping your practice achieve more with less effort.

Faster Performance Across the Platform

One of the biggest improvements users will notice is performance.

The upcoming release introduces significant speed enhancements across the platform, helping teams navigate Dental4Web more efficiently and complete everyday tasks faster. Whether you’re accessing patient records, managing communications, viewing images, running reports or working across multiple locations, Dental4Web will feel more responsive and intuitive than ever before.

Combined with a refreshed and modernised experience, these improvements will help reduce friction in daily workflows and make it easier for teams to focus on patient care rather than administration.

A More Modern Dental4Web Experience

Today’s practices expect software that is connected, efficient and easy to use.

That’s why this release goes beyond individual features. It represents a broader transformation of Dental4Web, bringing more functionality into a single integrated platform and reducing the need for disconnected systems, manual processes and third-party tools.

The result is a more streamlined experience that supports practice growth, improves team collaboration, and helps future-proof your technology investment.

Also Coming Soon to Dental4Web

Smarter Imaging and Patient Communication

Practices will soon be able to email patient X-rays and images directly from MediaWeb PACS without downloading files or switching between applications.

This streamlined workflow will save time, reduce manual handling and make referral management significantly more efficient.

Clinicians will also be able to insert patient images directly into letters and treatment communications from within Dental4Web. By making it easier to create image-rich patient correspondence, practices can improve patient understanding and enhance treatment discussions.

Enhanced Security Controls

Dental4Web will soon support passwords and passphrases of up to 64 characters, helping practices align with modern security requirements and enterprise IT policies.

This enhancement provides greater flexibility for organisations operating under formal security frameworks while supporting stronger password practices across the practice.

More Flexible Reporting

New reporting controls will provide greater flexibility over how reports are generated and scheduled, allowing practices to include or exclude specific items based on their reporting requirements.

These enhancements will help teams access more meaningful insights while reducing the need for manual report adjustments.

Simplified Compliance Management

A range of improvements to sterilisation workflows are imminent, including enhanced label printing with additional cycle, expiry and traceability information.

These updates are designed to support infection-control requirements, improve record keeping and simplify compliance-related processes.

Task Manager for Better Team Collaboration

One of the most significant additions to Dental4Web in the next release, is the introduction of Task Manager.

Designed to keep teams aligned and accountable, Task Manager will provide a centralised workspace for creating, assigning, tracking and managing tasks across the practice.

Instead of relying on emails, spreadsheets and disconnected communication tools, practices will be able to manage operational activities directly within Dental4Web, improving visibility and accountability across the team.

Interactive 3D Clinical Visualisation

The new 3D Skull Viewer will provide an engaging way to visualise anatomy, support patient education and enhance treatment planning conversations.

With multiple viewing modes and annotation capabilities, this interactive tool will help clinicians communicate treatment needs more effectively while improving patient understanding and engagement.

Built for the Future

This release is about more than new features.

It’s about delivering a faster, more modern and more connected Dental4Web experience that helps practices operate more efficiently today while preparing for the future.

We’re looking forward to sharing more details in the coming months as these enhancements become available.

Faster performance. Modern workflows. Smarter collaboration. A new era of Dental4Web is on the way.
